How to Sous Vide Apples

For a very tender and soft cooked apple, it can usually be cooked for 1 to 2 hours. For a lightly poached but still very firm apple, as little as 25 to 40 minutes in the sous vide machine works great. You can sous vide apples either whole, or cut into chucks and placed in a single layer in the bag. They are almost always cooked at at 183°F to 185°F (83.9°C to 85°C).
